What Films Do You Accept?

 

We accept films based on two criteria:

 

1. The film is created by someone who identifies as LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer) and Vietnamese

2. The film’s subject matter revolves around the intersectionality of being LGBTQ and Vietnamese

When Do Submissions Open?

 

Submissions are currently ongoing.

How Do I Submit?

 

Submissions must be received through our Google form here.

What Submission Formats Do You Accept?

 

For all film submissions, acceptable formats include two DVD or Blu-Ray copies, a link to download the film or a link to stream the film online. If your film has been accepted, we will contact you with the address to send the physical copies of your film. For further questions regarding formats, please contact us.

 

How Much Does It Cost To Submit?

 

There is no fee for film submissions.

 

Where Do I Send My Film?

 

Please send all links to queervietnamesefilmfestival@gmail.com. If your film has been accepted, we will contact you with the address to send the physical copies of your film.

 

When Will I Be Notified Of The Decision Regarding My Film?

We will contact you shortly after receiving your submission. Please make sure to provide an email address that is checked frequently.

 

What Language(s) Must The Film Be In?

 

We accept films of all languages, but due to our international audience, we highly prefer films with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
